On popular demand, here's drifblim and a bonus drifloon! Being a ghost, this creature is indeed random in it's design... I've drawn many strange creatures in my life but this gotto be one of the oddest things so far o.O (Also, I know I accedently coloured drifblims arms dark blue instead of light... Whoops! I could go edit this but... eh, it's no big mistake? X3 )
I was thinking about leaving the description of this creature blank but here's cheesy attempt at a scientific explanation... XD
Drifblim is indeed a strange and ghastly creature, often surrounded by myths and tales. Those creatures often appear very distant and can only be seen as they drift by in the wind. One widespread myth is that the drifloon steal children to float away with them.
These creatures spend almost all their life in the air, drifting along with the wind. They use very little energy and the only thing they control is what height they wishes to be in as well as using their limbs to steer their bodies, mainly during gusty days.
They are nearly blind but have a set of sensitive hairs near their rear which they uses to keep them well informed about the winds. What the collection hairs upon their head is good for is unknown, but it's speculated that this might also be used to determine wind direction. It might be so that the hairs upon the head is more sensitive then those near the rear but is unusable during downpour, and this would be when the pokémon use to the less sensitive but useable organ near their rear.
The drifblim live in symbiosis with a certain species cyanobacteria (also known as blue-green algae) which is able to produce the light gas hydrogen. Simply put, these bacteria lives in the skin of the drifblim and inflates the pokémons body with gas. Depending on weather and what movements the drifblims want to perform, it releases gas to lower it's position. The bacteria also provide the drifblim with enough energy to make this almost immobile creature survive, and water can be drained right out of the air. It's also those bacteria that gives this pokémon it is dark blue colour.
The only time the drifblim need to settle on the ground is to collect nutrients and is usually doing so by eating soil or in some rarer cases deposed organic substances. The pokémon can not drain nutrients from the soil on its own, but the bacteria can and when the bactera dies off, the pokémon digests them to ensue the nutriets itself.
It should be mentioned that the gas hydrogen is highly inflammable... Cases of drifblims that have drifted into dessert areas has simply caught fire or in some cases even exploded has been reported at multiply times!

I was never fond of these things, and now you've reminded me why! No bash against your art skills, but it's just not something I'd like to see floatin' around in real life if you catch my drift.

That looks really wonderful! I got surprised by the fact about Drifblim and Drifloon exploding themselves with those kind of gases in a hot enviroment!

I have PSI Powers hidden with me, and you want to see it? Here's my TK.
When I first saw these things last year, I thought they were some sort of freakish jellyfish... <,<
Now your designs here... look closer to jellyfish... albeit, solid jellyfish. Yes, solid ghost jellyfish... quite freaky indeed... but I like it!!! More power to ya.
But they are inanimate objects, not creatures! These pokemon aren't really your /thing/ IMO. (On account of them having fabric bodies and not being pokemon...
Eh, but what do I know. This is a great interpretation of them and drawing.

Sorry if I am harsh, I know if you respect art and design you will see my comments as constructive criticism and as an opinion. I don't mean to be insulting in any way.
