Roselia

Argh! >_<
This picture was a typical "problem" one!
First, it's the boringnees of it, it looks like everything in this gallery! Cheast slightly from the front and head from the side.
Secondly, he has stolen the face-expression of one of my very own characters, i hate getting my own creations involved in fanart. Especially as this character of mine is someone i'm really fond of. I tried to change the face a bit after i relized this (aka, after i finished it) but it didn't made much diffrance

Then the third thing... the coloring was a pain! It was like the pencils had turnded themselfs against me. I missed, drawed out of the lines, the shades blurred up with the other color, the shades got into the wrong place, same with the highlight... that was the dry coloring. When i was going to wet it it started to mess with me again!
Then the forth and last thing. Once it had dried, i was going to do a last gray shading on it. When i was done, i swept my hand over it and *ta-da* most of the picture got blurred by gray pen and the shadows i made was partly messed up -_-; so, i had to stard erase blurry greyness and fill in the shadows.
I though about hiding it in my desk and let it rot. Next day i made two other images i wanted to scan, and as my anger had settled a bit, i scanned this picture. And somehow, the scaner made a miracle... it fixed the colors! well, improved them at least. My scaner usually mess picture but this time it did an exception... so i posted it anyway.
okay, i'll be quiet soon...
This is supposed to be roselia, i like to think about them being relatives with shiftry... both look humanshape and got plants attached to their arms (read bout' my idea of the plants here... [link]). I think the roses are used to impress on females; if the male got big, pretty flowers, it must mean that he's stong and healthy enough to supply them (this might make no sence if you didn't click the link earlier and read the text). Wouldn't suprise me if they'll use them in some kind of mating prefomance as well... like some dance... in true peafowl style. I suppose the females should have flowers too, but i can't come up with a reason for them to have thouse really... rose-free females maybe? The color combination of the roses varies depending on wich area the roselia is born/rised in.
And it bothers me that roselia is so tiny, otherwise i would find them rather neat.
And i can't draw roses (i dislike that flower too, i think they are ugly, gene manipulated things. And how could these thorny flowers become the flower of love?)
And my roselia looks like a gremlin/goblin creature (gotto do with thouse ears and the color me thinks)
And this roselia really needs a name
And I still write too much probally not very intresting things.
