Squirtle

Look, I drew a pokémon! This is for a guy out there called James
Hope you like everyone!

Inspiered upon an array of turtles, giving it features from both tortoise, fresh water and sea turtle. A mixture! I drew it without and reference but I think I got it fairly well... squirtle ain't a real turtle after all, so don't look too close if you want to know turtle anatomy XD
Squirle move well upon land, and in water I image it to move slowly but steadily like a... hippo maybe? Being slow, squirle mainly feed of waterplants, but may eat land plants as well.
Squirtle is a slow swimmer but may venture into faster, streaming water; it can use the a long, flexible tail to grab and hold on to things.

Something like that? ^^

The pose is bit off but... it's supposed to be floating, so I added some underwtaer plants and bubbles... oh well.

EDIT; As have pointed out, both turtles and squirtles belly and backshields should be are tightly connected, not leaving an open space like I've drawn. This is a great mistake by me, drawing without a reference, I thought they where split upon squirtle!
